The use of simvastatin is usually as a tablet once a day in the evening. The individual dose is determined by the doctor, but is usually between five and eighty milligrams.

What should be considered when taking Simvastatin?

In addition, the use of grapefruit juice should be avoided during simvastatin therapy. Only one glass of grapefruit juice in the morning will cause twice as many simvastatin levels to be measured the next night - the possible consequences are unexpected side effects.

How does simvastatin work?
